After a rather long travel day, I finally made it to Bloomington. Walking back from the rental car drop off, I took what I thought to be a slight detour on the way back – there were some pretty trees that distracted me.
Turns out, it was a rather large detour…I think my brother is still amazed at how I got so off track – apparently what should have been a 15 minute walk turned in to a 2 hour one. I for one wasn't too disappointed, although a wee bit tired and sweaty (Indiana takes it's humidity very seriously).
My meandering yielded a few good pictures along the way….Indiana limestone sure is pretty and Bloomington is one cute town. Apparently though, the novelty I had experienced at seeing jack rabbits (and managing to photograph them) wasn't all that unique….jack rabbits are to Bloomington what cows are to Modesto…o well, I still thought they were cute.
